A client of ours from 2008 (see “Cherry Library and Home Office in Quarterfield” below) had just replaced some of their kitchen appliances. In order to install the new appliances they performed some surgery on their existing kitchen cabinets. The email I received from our client read: “As part of the process, we have had to cut the cabinets in the island. I have been anxious to not replace the cabinets as I think that leads to replacing granite, changing wall paper, curing cancer…..we continue to love our closets and study and wonder if you can bring some of that magic to the kitchen”?
